I use globat.com for my web host and am trying to put up a not_found.php page for broken links on search engines. Globat is saying I cannot do this because the links are php. I've edited their html error docs pages but they do not work either. What happens is a internal server error is generated whenever you click on a broken php link in the search engines. Globat is saying php is bringing up this error because it is different from a 404 error apache generates.
But they offer no solution to the problem. Only that php is generating the error and I can't have a not found error page for php links. Is that true? How does one put a customized not found page in php for a php site?
