Setting SMTP

Hi all,

How do I set the SMTP path in my php.ini file to point to another server??

Can you not access the php.ini file in the php directory, or wherever you keep your ini file? Then you can change it in the bit under [Mail Function]

OK. But SMTP needs to be turned on in windows. I know how its done(Add/Remove Windows Components) but it asks me to insert Windows Setup CD. Will this affect the server settings in any way? That's my only worry?
