Mail() function won't send when certain words are used in message body

Hi,

I am using the mail() function to send emails to members of a website. For some reason when I include words such as "free" or "winner" the mail does not send to any of the addresses - it just seems to disappear in space. I figured this out by trial and error - once I removed those words, it worked.

I am running cPanel on the server and have no problem sending emails as long as they don't use those words. It seems to be blocking certain words - ones that I assume spammers would use. Is this a feature of mail() or cPanel and how do I turn it off? Thank you!

My bet would be neither. I'm guessing it's being blocked on the receiving end, not the sending end. Does this behavior happen on ALL domains sent to or just some?

Hi,

Most of the time when my mails goes to the space I found that "space" is my Junk mail folder..

Also mail() function in php never block any word... Though not sure about the cPanel but quite sure it doesn;t block mails either..

But the best bet is that you mails are going in junk mail folder and if there is some spam tracking in incoming mails than they are delete from within servers and doesn't reach your inbox

Try send a mail with just one of the these letter in mail body and see if they reach if they reach word blocking is not there..
