Anyone see it yet? I know it's not officially out, but some people might have seen demos

I shall be interested to see how it copes with CSS. MX2004 had room for improvement, there.

Really, I think I only need to update Dreamweaver - but will Fireworks MX2004 continue to work in conjunction with it?

You need to checkout the upgrade options, as if you own any macromedia software you can now upgrade to the latest studio.

I have seen the latest, its pretty good. Handles CSS well, I heard that they completely rewrote the engine.

Anyway I think that trials are available for download.

Dreamweaver 8 is not what I expected improvement that should be done. It is pretty much as the same as MX 2004 in server behaviors. It only improved the RSS and CSS features. I am not very excited.

I have been mulling over updating to Dreamweaver 8 but do not want to if the new features are only minimal.

Any input from those who have made the upgrade?

          Thanks! 🆒

I found that it was worth the upgrade. As many previous bugs have been fixed. I still find little things here and there I would like to have included, but we can't always have everything.

But if you really want to check it out for yourself before you upgrade, just download the trial version.

Eh, I gave up Dreamweaver back in the Dreamweaver 5 era.....

I switched to reading real books and using a small fast and comparable editor for many languages. What dreamweaver had that what I have doesn't is a WYSIWYG editor, but I never used it anyway. I always used the code editor.

But we'll see how Adobe fairs with the new studio... it'll be interesting....
