Date conversion again....?

I'm using this in my php form:

[$DOB = date('Y-m-d', strtotime($StrDO😎);]

Of course, it doesn't work on dates prior to 1970. I am trying to convert a Date of birth from mm/dd/yyyy format to yyyy-mm-dd format (MySQL default) on a WAMP installation. Can anyone point me to a workaround?

By the way...I used a regular expression to accomplish what you needed. Just in case you were wondering...

[man]sscanf[/man] could also be used given the simplicity of the format.
