I finished a fulltext engine for a web CMS and I started testing it... All went nice but one thing:
I have a table CONTACTS in a database, which holds the data about employees. such as: name, address, phone, cellular....
The phone numbers are varchar fields, entered like this:
081/222-333
this format is common in my country.
When I try to search for numbers in given format, I get no results!!!
As soon as I change the number for testing purposes like this:
081222333, it works just fine!!!
Help me!!!
P.S. Are those special signs (/ and - causing problems???)
