Parse error: parse error, unexpected '<', expecting ',' or ';'

Hello all, this is my first time here and I noticed a few people posted their errors and you guys were able to help them. I've done numerous searches but since I'm not sure what to look for I don't know how to fix my problem.

Line 34:
name="HeaderTopLogoBG"> <?php echo <div align=\""right\""> ;span class=\""slogan\"">\n"; echo

Error message:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected '<', expecting ',' or ';' in ...\PostNukeBlue\header.html on line 34

Thanx for any help you can offer. I don't understand this, my site was working fine, I removed a few pics and now it doesn't work. 😕

Where is your closing PHP tag

It's missing , also that error means you didnt terminate the line properly

PHP is expecting ; to terminate the line.

Not only is it missing what the previous poster said but it is missing quotation marks as well. If you are using echo for a string of data in needs to be enclosed like so...

<? echo "Hello world"; ?>

or if you have variables with stings use the following

<? echo "Hello ".$username.", How are you today?"; ?>

If the $username variable was set to Aybabtu then it would produce the result:

Hello Aybabtu, How are you today?

this is the way it should read because if it does'nt php throws a hissy fit try using a free php editor or using php code highlighting it helps me avoid a lot of problems like this
