Greetings Everyone,
Here at work we're running MSSQL for a database and I'm having some trouble with the server as of late. The server itself is running only a single script that redirects a client/visitor based on 3 or so parameters calling on the database when needed. The trouble is that it runs fine if the SQL service was recently started/restarted, but over time it starts to just bog down. The Page File size starts at 500MB and the CPUs run between 50-80%... but after about an hour or two the Page File puffs up to 1.5 GBs and the CPUs run 90-100%. And redirects that did happen rather instantly take 10-20 seconds to occur.
Are there some things I can do to keep the server from bogging? I've been looking around with google, but thought I might see if anyone had ideas around here 🙂
Thanks!
