I need code for search function

Hi guys, how are ya? I am lazy and dont dont where to start coding for a search function to put on my site. It must be be rather advanced searching for anything in mysql database, throughout all the content on my site and search the web from within my site. Where can I find code for that?Ive tried 1 or 2 places but their searches suck. Something like this search on this forum is a good start. Please help me. I know you gurus have all the best sites to go and look on. If you perhaps could refernce me to a couple of them, I might not ever have to come here and ask stupid questions again. Only good questions.

is your content stored in one table, or multiple tables within a single db? The bottom line is that there are lots and lots of ways to do this. But the easiest would be to create a user form, take the input and create a query that hits your DB, and then returns (and displays) the results. You will need basic mysql interactions, basic html form knowledge, and basic php string handling. all of these things can be found at www.php.net. If you run into a specific problem, let us know

My dynamic content is stored in multiple tables, static is hard coded. I will check this out. I got the "isearch" from the web, but is giving me lots of hassles with the spider and I cant work my look and feel into it. SUCK. But I'll go the less lazy way and code it myself rather, then I get what I want. I am rather new to this web development concept, and what youy just asked about my content made me think that I am doing it the stupid way. Do you put static content in a db table as well?. It makes sense though, but my db is rather big as it is so would rather not want to add more tables.
