Question regarding implementing a EULA

Hello. The first part of the project that I'm working on requires implementing a EULA.
When a user goes to my page, I want to see if they've already been there and have already agreed to the EULA at a prior time. If so, then it skips asking the question and goes directly to the main page.

If someone hasn't agreed to it before, then a page comes up asking if they agree to the terms of the EULA.

I'm assuming that I have to use some sort of combination of cookies/session variables. I tried doing some searches on EULA's, but wasn't able to come up with anything helpful. I was just wondering if someone here's already had to implement a EULA on their site and if so, how did you go about it? Are there better ways to go about it than using cookies? Thanks!

I would recommend using cookies if you can. sessions work just fine, but the next time the user comes to the page, they need to read the EULA again. On the other hand, the user may have cleared cookies, or may not even allow them. So either one will work, just figure out which is best for your situation

Also If you are going to implement an EULA then you would have to make them agree before giving them an account just so your protected legally. Just out of curiosity what kind of site is this. I've been looking for some new sites like the once excellent WastedYouth and RoboUK sites so I can post some tut's

Cool. It's going to be a real estate website. My friend's been involved in real estate investing for a while, and found that there was no online repository for certain kinds of real estate, so he came to me. He's doing all the forming the llc, marketing, finding clients type stuff, and i'm making the actual website. It's going ok. This is actually my first project using php/mysql. I've done freelance stuff before, but it was mostly just html and flash. I'm still in the planning stage, although I'm starting to throw together the shell for the site. Now it's all the behind the scenes php stuff that I have to start.
