i would like to create a content manager script for some flash websites i've made...and seeing as i always use the same type of xml files for certain sections in the site, i figured i can just use the same content manager for them all...but the thing is i don't know where to start...the most important site right now that i need a content manager for is a bandsite i just made...as i've told the guys i'll be their site admin until i get a content manager script seeing as none of them know how to update xml files and such...here are a few examples of my xml files:

alright...now i don't want someone to just give me the code or anything...it will be hard but i can do that on myself...which will be good practice at php for me...but what i need help with...is where to start/what to do? like are there certain steps i would go through doing this? so thats pretty much all i want...just to know what i need to do in order to make this content manager...thank you so much for your help! =D
