I am creating my company's intranet site, and I'd like to know if one can detect WINNT logon which users entered when they start their computer, not the pop up window screen from password protected directory.
I'd like to find out the userid that each user entered to log on to his/her system, then check in Active Directory to see what group he/she belongs to so that I can avoid having login page to access the intranet site.
I know this can be done in .net, but I am not sure how this can be done in php.
Any ideas? Please advice. Thanks.
