[RESOLVED] Fedora4.0 php

Hi,

i am new with fedora4.0 . i have installed the php , mysql available with fedora. both mysql and php5.0 are working fine.

php is having display_errors=off, and mysql is not enabled by default. why these things are different with php4.0.

Please suggest how to enable mysql functionalities in php. or how to recompile the php with the mysql support. There is lots of help available on net through command.
What is the easiest way to enable the mysql support.

fwiw, I recently did a fresh FC4 install on a laptop, including apache/php/mysql from the install cd, and mysql and mysqli support was automatically included in the fedora php. I didn't have to install or recompile anything.

I have solved the problem by selecting package php-mysql from mysql package.
