MySql and the Timestamp

Hello people,

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have a table in a database that has a Unix Timestamp field like so: "1124009276"

What I'm trying to do is to build an SQL Query that will allow me to retreive all rows created within a certain month.

How do use the Timestamp field to retrieve all rows by looking at just one portion of the timestamp, ie the month?

Below is a MySQL query example where it will retrieve all rows for September:

SELECT * FROM table_name WHERE MONTH(ts_column) = 9
