Alright, I am a geek
I have a fantasy football team, and I want to be able to export the database from the table i have, into an XLS spreadsheet

I have a table with 10 columns, and the rows add on every time the week changes with new stats.

Is it possible to take that table (which pulls the values from the database) and export it to a spreadsheet with a link, not copy and paste?

I would appreciate just a link to a tutorial, dont do the work for me, unless its that easy and i am just a moron

try searching this forum. this question has been answered many times here.

basic idea #1 is that you can't write XLS format, but you CAN write comma-separated data or tab-seperated data which is easily opened with XL just like it were a spreadsheet. basic idea #2 is that you need to send a header that tells your browser that what you are downloading is not html but data.
