- May need a response from a system admin on this one.
Heres the problem (using Dreamweaver MX):
Going into "Recordset" ..."database items" (clicking on "tables" to create a query)it shows "none" which just isn't correct. There are more than 30. While the connection within DreamweaverMX (remote and testing server) do test successful, the tables themselves won't show.
All my other sites on other servers work fine for this, so its obvious that, combined with the connections testing positive for: remote/testing and also with a "SHOW variables" successful printout -- the problem isn't local.
The biggest problem is since the tables won't show on my local machine, I cannot create INSERT or UPDATE forms. INSERTS can be made via existing forms and phpmyadmin. But new forms can't be created. Which I need to propogate my tables with.
Not just some - but all of the tables are not showing.
Could having too many queries on a site cause this?
Also, my connection itself seems to be weaking. Constantly getting "lost connection with server" errors as I'm working on pages. And locking up because of it. I've getting no help from Host on this, and it started around ten days back when I'm told the server crashed. Their response: "I'm sorry but we don't use Dreamweaver" and "Time warner has had bad connections past few days.
The answer: rename the server script folder
