Color Chooser,

With the creation of my shopping cart stuff,
I want to create a page that lest the user select a different color scheme..

I would like to allow the user to choose any color imaginable...Ie they can enter a #FFCC00 code etc...

but at the same time id like to have a color chooser...(ie similar to that in photoshop on the page that also connects to the form..ill figure that out later (ie form / image interaction))

whats the easiest way to put a colour chooser on a page?
and can it be done?

How are you tonight? If I interpret your question correctly, you are considering a style - sheet - switcher with CSS and PHP ?! If so, check this out: http://www.contrastsweb.com/switcher/

You could use some of the basics they suggest, and then you could also let a user input their color preferences and save it in a cookie, or write it to your database...

Thats kinda what im after...but this will be hard coded ...ie the admin picks the site look then it gets saved so everyone viewing the site sees it through the admins eyes 🙂

would also like to have a dragable color field...ie as you drag the color #code comes up at the bottom..and the color gets shown in a box on the same page..

How are you at programming/action-script with flash??!! Sounds like it would be a fun flash project: dragging objects and so on...

i could do it with flash..but im looking for a way where you dont need a 3rd party sotware suport installed for it to work..
