Parsing text from a textarea form with PHP

I'm sure you guys must see this often but I've been looking everywhere for 2 hours and could not find an answer to my problem.
Here it is:

I want to copy html pages by selecting them and right clicking on them and then paste them in a textarea form. The info copied would be somewhat similar to this:

Matières premières sur syrenx [6:425:7] pour 06-10 04:37:36
Métal: 266888 Cristal: 230190
Deutérium: 98501 Énergie: 3315

Flottes
Petit transporteur 1 Grand transporteur 40
Chasseur léger 38 Chasseur lourd 12
Croiseur 50 Vaisseau de bataille 63
Recycleur 20 Satellite solaire 30

When the form gets submitted, I want to use PHP to parse the text into variables.
i.e.: Metal who be one variable, cristal would be another....
Each form copied in the in the textaera will have the same format.

What should I do?
Any help would help!

What you can do is use explode() function and break the lines using ":"

For eg. $line = explode(':', $line);

What it will do is find the ':' and put that into variable or even if you want to store a line than look for newline character using explode()

newline character is /n

Let's say I want to explode the first line:

Matières premières sur syrenx [6:425:7] pour 06-10 04:37:36

What is in color are the variables I want to get.
Since there are spaces in the first expression, how can I do that so the variables I get are like this:

Matières premières sur: syrenx
Coords: [6:425:7]
pour: 06-10 04:37:36
