query help please

hey all, i need a bit of help with my mysql db. ive got the db all setup, its got data in it, and now im trying to analyze some of that data, but im not sure how.

how do i search a field for a word?

my db has 12305 rows in the table im trying to work with, and i want to find just the rows that have certain words in them.

Check the mySQL documentation for LIKE, RLIKE and REGEXP, that should get you going on searching.
