I've been trying to send email with php mail function in suse linux 9.3 professional from Localhost but I'm not receiving the mail and I'm not getting any error as well. Any idea why this is happenning? I basically need the test php mail function in my pc. Thanks.
are you running an SMTP app? if so is it properly specified in your php.ini? be advised that PHP cannot actually send the mail, it only passes it along to your SMTP app.
Ohh! I didnt know that PHP cannot actually send the mail. I thought in Linux PHP can. Anyway, I will try to setup this SMTP thing now. Thanks for your reply and sorry for asking such a stupid question. 🙂
