Recently a user registered with our site. This company has a new phone number of: area - prefix - '0000'
that's right. the number ends in fours zero's. apparantly the phone company's are now assigning these as numbers.
problem is the mysql table will only store as a single "0" and I suspect my validation gave them a hard time also, causing the company to not complete the registration process.
Is there a way to store four zero's in the table?
Also, while on the topic of validation, for anyone else's information I've learned that there too is the rare case of four-digit zip code.
