session in http and https

hi all
I am in a big trouble.
i have both secure and non-secure sections in my website

i have set a session in the page https://secure.mysite.com/members.php
but that session is not available in the page http://mysite.com/index.php

is it not possible actually? or is there anyway to make it available over the entire site in both secure and non secure pages ???

i really need it since i use the session all over the website. what should i do ? is there any alternate solution for it? or is this my error?
