A little date() help please

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me.

I have a date that is formated with the week number of a year.
date("W");
this defults as monday being the first day of the week. Is there anyway I can dynamicly set which day I want to be the start of the week?

Um, not without lobbying ISO....😃

The only other way about it is to write your own week number routine (which would depend on which day of the week is the first, and which day of the week is the first of its year).

I don't know of anything offhand....staring at PEAR😃ate might reveal something - in fact, staring at PHP's implementation of date() in the source code may locate just PHP does it.

Hm. Could be worth a play around..... I wonder if you could start with date('W') and do some arithmetic with that...?
