i am building a website, i would like to make a demo to my friend.
is there any chance that i could show him this one i am working on, without uploading it to server.

Site is on my hard drive, ( very big ) !
Meaning : http://localhost/beta/

I am running on machine, XP SP2, IIS 5.0, mySQL 4.1.

can i give him my ip adress, will he able to see my website ?
do i need to install any more software ?

Can this be done ?

depending on your network, but yes, very easy to do.

just give him your ip address. in some cases, depending on your router, you may need to allow port forwarding of port 80 to go through to your computer. you'll need to read the docs on your router. but yeah, just try it first, it may just work.
