I've purchased an online event calendar, and I'm wanting to integrate some e-commerce (catalog, shopping cart, payment processing, etc.) software with it. I'm wanting users to be able to make reservations, but want them to send a payment prior to making it their official reservation. There's some online reservation software out there, but I don't like the layout of the ones I have seen, and none really meet my needs.
I've figured that if I'm able to process months, days, hours, etc. as actual "products", I would be able to successfully do this. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I would go about doing this? I have not yet obtained any e-commerce scripts, so I'm open to any suggestions as far as that goes as well.
