Hi there, I am a total newbie. I installed Apache2.0 and PHP5.0.5 and then MySQL 4.1. I used the MySQL Instance Wizard setup, chose port 3306 and then at the end of the setup it always said @Cannot apply security, Connection Error, Access denied to root@localhost, Please check if there is anyway firewall or so...@

I don't have any firewalls and I have tried all the other port numbers but still the same message. And because of this error I cann't connect to the mySQL database.

Any helps would be appreciated.
