Dumb Blonde needs MySQL/php Help

Hey,

Please can someone help me. I have spent the day trying to get to grips with understanding php and mySQL, to no avail.

All i wanna do is have a page on my website that enables users to create a login and password and have and manage their own profile. also the ability to have their own @mydomain.com email and manage that with a site inbox after they log in, but all the stuff i have read has left me so confused.

Is there somewhere i can get a readymade to custom code? im not a programmer and dont really want to attempt to be one.

I have installed MySQL on my server and have looked in the code library, but thats as far as I have got...im really sorry if im asking alot.

Well, some of the stuff you want to do can be accomplished without php and mysql if you have CPanel installed on your web server. Do you? Just a possibility.

1) Does every user need a unique login name?
2) What do you mean by "manage their own profile?" Set their own passwords? Fill in personal information like Address, Interests?
