save file attachment from email

I need help. I´m trying to make PHP script, which saves file attachment from email to FTP. Is it possible? Thanks for your help....

I don´t know if use POP3 or IMAP. I was looking for php imap_functions which save attachment but i finded nothing. My vision is that somebody send me email with attachment. My webhosting can, that if somebody send me email, start the script. And I need save the attachment as a file to FTP. When i was looking for help, all posts where were something written about attachment, were written about sending email with attachment but not about saving attchment...
