PHP Mail function issue

Hi,

I get the email at [e-mail], but [e-mail] does not. It is the same code!!

Is there something on the server that might be causing the issue? Any insight is appreciated. Thanks.

spam blocker, you have two options probably. If you are really serious you could try attaching a pdf file or some file, sometimes spam blockers let those through. The other thing is to ask the recipient if he/she can turn down or off their spam blocker but with most free mail sites that is not an option. I run into this problem constantly. Gmail, lets a lot through. So if your friend can switch i would suggest it.

Check to make sure the smtpfunction is right on the server. One way of doing this is to run <?php
echo phpinfo();
?>

on the server. ie call a page in a browser that has the above code in it. This will display all the properties of the php configuration. scroll to the PHP core box and check the values of the SMTP host and port. should be localhost and port 25
