Hi friends .

I am new at your forum , and hope to help me in my problem .

my problem is :

I make DB with on table contain three Fields :
1) sound_id and this is a primary key Field
2) sound_name
3) sound_File

and used php pages to call the information from the DB , by using mysql_fetch_array()

my Question is , want make hyberlink for page for next page .

for example : the DB contain : sound_id=1 , sound_name=Mike , sound_file=Mike.mp3
sound_id=2 , sound_name=Mark , sound_file=Mark.mp3

so for first page www.mysite.com/name.php?sound_id=$sound_id&sound_name=$sound_name&sound_file=$sound_file

www.mysite.com/name.php?sound_id=1&sound_name=Mike&sound_file=Mike.mp3

the hyberlink should be :
www.mysite.com/name.php?sound_id=2&sound_name=Mark&sound_file=Mark.mp3

how can increment the vlue in hyberlinks

You would do a do while loop if you are doing this while pulling your records from a database or you could just use a for loop with a counter, and use the counter variable in the url string.

but Unforunitaly doesnt work , when increment the the sound_id filed , its just changed , but the Fields not :
so the page which show all record , the hyberlink for every link was like that :

 <a href="test.php?sound_id=<? printf("%s",$row[0]);?>&sound_name=<? printf("%s",$row[1]); ?>&sound_file=<? printf("%s",$row[2]);?> ">

that work correctly for every record , and when enter to the first record page , should be like :
http://www.mysite.com/name.php?soun...d_file=Mike.mp3

but the next page changed only the sound_id value with no changed to other records

first, wreed said use a while loop like this maybe :

$result = mysql_query("SELECT sound_id,sound_name,sound_file FROM db");
while ($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)) {      

       echo "<a href='test.php?sound_id=$row[0]&sound_name=$row[1]&sound_file=$row[2]'>$row[2]</a>";
}

second, why are you parsing all value to url? maybe i suggest just parsing an id.
so the url would be test.php?sound_id=1, then on test.php you create a query like this:

$id = mysql_escape_string($_GET['sound_id']);
$query = "SELECT sound_id,sound_name,sound_file FROM db WHERE sound_id=$id";

but still not work , I think you dont understand me well , I made that before for show page , and every record have hyperlink to show in specific page .

I want to make hyperlink in every specific page for next page "which contain next records " and so on .

you can say as a book .

You need to get the variable from the url and pass it back to the SQL query. Have an if statement that if the value is not in the url do the generic query. The else will have the variable from the url in the url.

I succes with increment the id , but failed to passing the others variables to the next page

so can you help me for passing all variables to the pages by using only the sound_id .

for example www.mysite.com/test.php?sound_id=1

in this variable show , sound_name and sound_file and so on

hope to write your explaining by php code .
