Right now I e-mail regular HTML with

$headers  = "MIME-Version: 1.0\r\n"; 
$headers .= "Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1\r\n"; 
$headers .= "From: $email_address"; 
mail($email, $subject, $content, $headers, "-f$email_address") or die("failed");

How is it possible to add attachments with .pdf, .doc, or .mp3 files?

Just so you know the script parsing your mail is capable of having headers injected. You need to make sure the header is forced to start / stop on variables - otherwise a spammer could post encoded headers into your fields and mail anyone they want with whatever msg and file they want.

anyways, just thought I would let you know if you plan on putting such basic code on the web.
