For the time being, I am using a standalone software to create google web maps, it is very inconvenient, since I cannot create cron job. Does anyone know how to create google web maps with PHP? or is there any available scripts for this?Thank you!!
I was trying to write a similar script until I came accross this package. It's worth every penny and probably saved me hours. You can set a cron job to run it and it'll ping Google once it's done.http://www.xml-sitemaps.com
