Sessions

The session changes when I go from http://iccusion.net/test to http://games.iccusion.net/seika/index.php while not when I got to http://iccusion.net/games/seika/index.php

For testing:
user: test
pass: test

Is there a work around? Something built-in? Thanks for the help.

Set the 'session.cookie_domain' to '.iccusion.net'. Notice there's a dot before the domain name. This allows the session cookie to be used at www.iccusion.net or anysubdomain.iccusion.net

You can use ini_set() or session_set_cookie_params() to set it. It must be set before you issue a session_start().

I don't believe I did what you said wrong, but no go. Doesn't work. =(

Did you remember to put it on every page that creates/uses/accesses session variables?

Yes. I have an session file I have included on the index page, of every page.

It seems to work for me. I see welcome test message and the logout link.

You may want to make sure that cookies are being created with the browser you're using. Certain software on the PC you're using maybe interfering with the creation of cookies.

If that's not it, then post relevant code snippets.

Heh, that was it. I deleted my cookies and it worked fine. Thanks for all the help.
