Quick Newbie Question

Hi there, just a quick one, I'm having trouble finding out what is wrong with this, I have never tried loading a variable like this before:

    $p = '<a href="'.$_SERVER['PHP_SELF']
       .'?nav='.rawurlencode($GLOBALS['nav'])
       .'&pg='.$GLOBALS['prev'].'&path=/home/captive/public_html/nexus/$projectnumber/images/"><<</a>';

its the $projectnumber bit that is wrong, i'm not sure why...

I was just taught, in another thread, that this might be what you were looking for:

<?php

$p = '<a href="http://' . $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] . $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] . '?' . $_SERVER['QUERY_STRING'] . '">&lt;&lt;&lt;</a>';

Have you tried changing the & to an ?:

 $p = '<a href="'.$_SERVER['PHP_SELF']
       .'?nav='.rawurlencode($GLOBALS['nav'])
       .'&pg='.$GLOBALS['prev'].'&path=/home/captive/public_html/nexus/?projectnumber/images/"><<</a>';

Thanks for the sugestion,
I tried it and i get an error:

Warning: opendir(/home/captive/public_html/nexus/?projectnumber/images/): failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/captive/public_html/nexus/gallery/images.php on line 78

Oh, My bad. sorry thought it was an Ampersand, not a Dollar Sign.

In that case, it may be a concatenation error:

$p = '<a href="' .$_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] . '?nav='.rawurlencode($GLOBALS['nav']) . '&pg=' . $GLOBALS['prev'] . '&path=/home/captive/public_html/nexus/' . $projectnumber . ' /images/"><<</a>';
?>
