Best way of downloads

Hi, for my website I would like to make that if someone donates $10+ then they get access to 5 downloadables. I was wondering is there any way that I could make this secure, so that the person that gets them cant go and tell his friends where the links are and stuff like that?

how do you do the download? I would have them redirect to a page that checks to see who the user is first and then does the header content type thing to popup the download window if they validate. If they send that link to a friend they wont pass validation and will not call the auto download screen.

just a note, without any other protection in the downloaded files, they could just give their friends the files once they download them.
something like this you might need to build yourself, but there could be something close on www.hotscripts.com

I dont mind them putting it on a cd and giving it to their friends but i do mind them telling their internet friends the link where they can download it and them using my bandwidth.

thanks, but im looking for something else along with that. I am using MAMBO to build my website, i have users signed up, I want to be able to have a list where I can type a username in, and when someone logs in and goes to the site I want it to check the list to see if that username is in the list, if so then allow access, if not then goto an error page.
