simple code for displaying/editing/adding records to sql datbase

As you might of gest guys i am rather new to this php stuff!
Basically with some help from the guys over at www.flash-bd.com i have put together a flash database that talks to some php which the queries a sql datbase for the data. All is working great! however, at the minute i am useing phpmyadmin to edit the sql database. Not so user friendly from a clients point of view!
soo thats my next step to creat a page for a client to edit and add records to a sql database....
so could any one point me in the direction of a good tutorial or even a working php file that does exactly that?? i looked over the code libary and really dont no where to start.

just take a look at the mysql functions in the manual, should have plenty of examples.

it looks to be stuff that i dont really need to no at the minute. I am going to read through it all this evening though. so i can get the idea of things to come!
In the mean time though does any one have a php file that will display a sql database in a table and allow a user to edit and add a record that i can have a look at? 🙂

You want to write something to display a database table and allow people to edit records in the database, but you don't think you need to learn database functions?
