time() & date()

hi,
im printing this to the screen:

<? 
date('d-m-y  h:i ' , time() );
 ?>

but for some reason the time() always late in a few hours.
u can c in the image the difference between the clock of the windows xp and the time() function.
if im changing the clock, the time() will also change.

XP home , wamp , php5.

any ideas?

Well. if I undestand US timezones right, PDT is seven hours behind UTC. So you've got a locale setting somewhere that ends up telling PHP to use the UTC time zone instead of local time.
