Cookie Help

This might have been answered, but I can't find it.

I have two domains (dotcom1.com, dotcom2.com)
I want a cookie to be set on dotcom1.com and it be viewed at dotcom1 and dotcom2. Is that possible? I know they are domain specific but I was wondering if there is a directive that I could put in there to list what domains can see the values.

No it is not possible. This is a key security requirement for cookies. If what you were asking were possible then you can imagine the chaos that would ensue. Think whot would happen if any website could read ebay cookies? Not a good idea.

If you want one of your domains to be able to access user data on an other then do it server to server or through a common database.

Yeah I figured that was the case but I had to just check. You know, I don't want to count something out that is a possibility. I ended up using a common database to hold and distribute all the information. I was just looking for a way to carry a session over to another server.
