php upload results in 0kb

I am having a bit of trouble here.

I have a file upload script that uploads a pdf and moves it to the specified folder and inserts the imageURL to the database.

This works but the PDF results in 0kb, I am struggling to understand this, seeing this was working a few months ago.

Has anyone come across this? Could it be a server issue?

That sounds weird.

If the code is able to create the file, but not write to it, then I would check permissions on the server.
