Hello, I'm new to this forum. I'm sorry if this doesn't below here but I need some help with php.
At 12:30 am on 10/18, our website went down. We are having a hard time understanding why. We are still down. All of our php pages isn't loading and we are getting an Error 500 Internal Server Error please contact administrator.
This is what I know:
1) All of our html pages and graphics do come up when we put the direct link to them.
2) We are up to date on cpanel.
3) We are using Xoops
4) When we go to the cpanel and look to see what versions of Perl and PHP and etc are installed, we get version information on all installed products except for php. Which leads me to believe it's been deleted.
5) The server is Apache and it's at LayerTech. We bought the self manage, so we can't ask for help from LayerTech.
I know this is very limited information, but this is the best that I can provide since I have very limited knowledge. When I was on cpanel and went to "file manager" to look for the php.ini file and/or the directory where php is supposed to be, I was unable to find it. Should I be able to find this under cpanel or is it just able to be viewed with Shell? Any idea or information can be helpful. Feel free to ask more questions if necessary.
