You should probably wait until someone more experienced responds, but a general rule of thumb is that anything done in flash can only be updated by the person who made it...
This is usually due to the fact that flash animations aren't standardized like normal web pages are. You usually can't just add a new picture, but there might be a way.
If you post which database software it is using then there may be ways around it if you still have access to the same pictures. You could pull out all the pictures, put them in a new database just like the first, and possibly link the flash to that new database... but without knowing what kind of database you are using, this is a pretty hard subject to help with I think.
