Hi does anyone know where I can get a tutorial so that I can test my webpage, using a home server, I know I need MySQL, Apache and php, but i'm finding it difficult to get them all working together.

I want to be a able to test it first, mostly without having an internet connection.

Any pointers?

Download these files:

Apache2: http://httpd.apache.org
PHP: http://www.php.net/downloads.php
MySQL: http://dev.mysql.com

Install all the files and you may need to edit httpd.conf (in apache folder) to enable php_mysql (or php_mysqli).

You may also need to edit php.ini located in windows directory.

you fail to mention what operating system your using. both the above suggestions assume windows. and we all know what happens when you assume.
