Hi,

Our Internal website(PHP/MYSQL) takes ages to display result on Internet explorer 6 but when I tried on Mozila it takes probalbly less than half time to display result.

Does anyone know why? And What I can do to run IE faster?

Need more information. What exactly is your site doing? How does it format your pages? What things are on your pages? More detail the better.

Hi,

Its connected to mysql database and brings the information from few tables. For all information about customers. The page also uses Java Scripts.

IE might wait until it has all of the data downloaded/buffered before rendering it, whereas other browsers (Mozilla, for example) might start rendering as soon as they have a set amount (1,024 characters for example).

Without more information (a link would be great), I really don't know what else to say. It could be that at peak times, your server (MySQL, webserver, who knows) could be running slowly, bandwidth is peaking, who knows.

maybe you can flush the output-buffer inbetween script execution

That's certainly one thought.

Look at the [man]outcontrol[/man] section (specifically, the [man]flush/man and [man]ob_flush/man functions) for doing this.

I am looking at flush().

I have one more question.
I am trying to install Turck -MMCache and its says that It needs to be installed before Zend Optimiser,which I have already installed. Is there a way around this?

Or Can I Install Zend Accelarator or some other acclerator application which can make PHP run faster?
