Converting PDF to TEXT

Hi i have been looking everywhen for a month now and still have found nothing on how to convert a PDF file to TEXT.

I cannot use an executable such as an .exe on my company's windows 2003 server for security reasons.

I would like to know if there is another quick and easy way to do this.

it is an executable. and there are security issues with giving rights to IIS user. i would much prefer using COM or a php secure script. DO you have any other ideas?
