Has anybody ever tried to output an Excel spreadsheet as XML and then use that data as the database for a site? Aside from the data coming from a hard file, I don't see any problem with doing this...
When I start going out the door somebody presents me with an interesting idea (a client I mean).
Curious to know if anybody has done this before and at what kind of results. And/or perhaps there is a similar approach to this that I'm overlooking (using at least PHP and Excel in some way)?
Does this go in Echo Lounge or in the coding forum? I think it's right here...sorry if I'm off on this one.
