Object errors

I keep getting this error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/anythi7/public_html/nuke/install.php on line 59

The line looks like this:

if (!($db->sql_query($row1))){

I was wondering if someone could possibly help me figure out the problem to this? Thanks

Did you create the object before calling it? I think thats what that error is, of the function wassn't found in the class, but I think you just didn't create the object you are referencing?

Would someone mind taking a look at it for me? I thought I did reference it, but something must be done wrong. If someone wouldn't mind taking a look at it for me, that would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I don't have the time to look through a huge file of code, Im pretty sure your object is just not getting created before your calls to it. If you search for that error you will find thats the most common explination for that error. If you are saying its created, it could be a scope problem, did you create the object on the page level and trying to access it from a function type of thing? Set up a simple function inside the class that echos out anything and see if you can't get that to work, if not the object your trying to use doesn't exsist is all I can think of. gl.
