Hi All,

     I have to install php in my PC. My os is XP. What are the steps that i have to take in order to implement the above. If we once install mysql-admin we 

whether i can uninstall it from my system? . Please give me ideas.

Best tip: Don't use any of the pre-comipiled stuff like Xamp. Best to do the php modifications yourself. You can google for online guides, Depending upon what you want, is what you will search for. Below are good search strings:

• Install Apache PHP mySQL +XP

• Install Apache PHP mySQL mysql-admin +XP

• Install IIS PHP mySQL +XP

• Install IIS PHP mySQL mysql-admin +XP

even the php manual has pretty comprehensive info on installing php. of course it wont quite be step by step like you will see in many books or websites.
