sessions - alternate home page

hi

i'd like to set up php sessions for my site so an alternate index page is shown everytime a user arrives at the home page.

I plan to have 2 or 3 different home pages.

Grateful for help on acheiving this.

You would need to set a cookie to do this. Using sessions, everytime the browser is closed or the session times out, then the first index page would be shown. With a cookie, provided the user allows cookies from you, would keep track of the index page indefinately (until they clear cookies).
