Hi all,
I am passing a random letter or character via a URL and then selecting all data from a table that begins with this letter. I am fine with letter, numbers and other characters such as apostrophes, quotes, +, - etc etc.... the only one i am having trouble with is the % percentage sign.
I was told you could do it like the following code (by using ESCAPE but it's not working.
WHERE LOWER(bandname) LIKE '".htmlentities(stripslashes(strtolower($letter)))."%' ESCAPE '%'
Someone please help me?
