Anyone have any idea on how to make payment verification for E-GOld ?

I searched all over net for examples and cant find anything to start off with at all.

example, if payment success then true, if cancelled or failed then false..

Something to post back to verfied payment page so that sql insert can happen..

Any help on this would be great..

but they provide you with two options. a shopping cart type system that accepts egold and can notify you via email or ssl about a payment, the other option is their api which lets you make secure requests for account balances, history and spending.
they have some perl code for the second option, and there are a few carts that work with the first method.

I have seen those 2 pages, which are the same, but it makes no sence to me, all i want to do is if a person buys advertising from me using e-gold, and if a successfull payment, they are sent back to my site so that the page they are sent back too can do a insert into db.
If not a successfull payment, then go back to unsuccessfull page.

Anyone got any code I can work off of please...
Because I surely do not understand those things on those pages.

Its not like paypal, which was more easier to figure out.

the egold system works similarly to paypal.
if you view this page: http://www.e-gold.com/docs/e-gold_sci.html#_Toc29983883
that shows you what data is POSTed back to your server once a person makes a successful payment.
this is used with the shopping cart interface, and the url to this script is specified in the STATUS_URL hidden field that they show on this page http://www.e-gold.com/unsecure/sci_home.html

I have seen those pages and I still do not get it, listen, can anyone give me a simple way of understanding this, a sample of what to do, so that I can study it and work from it.
DOing the paypal part was nice cause there are so many examples to use and learn from, e-gold, heck there is nothing other then e-gold puts out.
Heck even paypal has some good ipn examples to work from.
Not asking for someone to do my work for me, just a good example to learn from.
